Jeremiah Roque first discovered his love for performing video game music at the age of 12, when he performed a piano arrangement of "Tina's Theme" from "Final Fantasy VI" at a middle school talent show. As a teenager, he transcribed and arranged video game music, submitting his covers to websites such as VGMusic.com and RPGamer.com.
Since then, he's focused on arranging music for small ensemble configurations, such as a jazz trio, synth rock band, or even piano solo. His arrangements have been featured in various arrangement projects such as Chronicles of Time and The Great Tale of the Little Ones. His most recent creations are available on SoundCloud, and he also frequently submits to the community-driven video game music remix competition Dwelling of Duels.
In addition to music, Jeremiah is also an avid computer enthusiast and software engineer. He has been building computers and creating websites since high school. Some of his web creations include websites for Chronicles of Time, Arc Impulse, and of course, this very website. His 13" MacBook Pro (Early 2011) is heavily customized, featuring a 256 GB SSD, 1 TB HDD instead of the DVD drive, 16 GB ram, and self-applied thermal paste for optimal CPU cooling.
Jeremiah completed his undergrad from DePaul University in 2008 with a B.A. in Mathematics, and received his M.S. in Computer Science in 2012. He currently works as a Software Engineer, engineering software. His most popular creation is the Excel to Jira Table Converter.
